Early Friday morning, burglars broke into a home on 43rd Avenue while the residents were sleeping.

The thieves stole a laptop computer, a flat screen TV and the owner's car.

A similar robbery happened in the same neighborhood about a month ago.

Residents say they're paying more attention to who's coming in and out of their neighborhood:

Neighbors also say they've recently bought security alarms for their homes.

As for Friday's break in, Hyattsville police say the stolen car has been recovered, but they are still searching for the burglar responsible.
