A man possibly threatening to jump from the Key Bridge prompted the closure of the bridge Tuesday evening.

MPD has the man in custody at this time. They say he is conscious and alert.

The Key Bridge, as well as some nearby streets, remained closed for a portion of the evening, causing major traffic delays.

The area has re-opened.
