Luis Tadeo, Victor D. Jackson struck, killed in North East, Md. work zone

NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say two highway workers were killed when a car hit them in a work zone in North East.
It happened about 9 a.m. Wednesday on Pulaski Highway. Troopers say a car entered a work zone, which was marked with orange traffic cones, and struck the two workers.
Forty-two-year-old Luis Tadeo of Bowie and 41-year-old Victor D. Jackson of Washington were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver was not hurt.
The name of the driver has not been released. The accident is under investigation.
