Maryland police recover 350 pounds of marijuana
January 4, 2013 - 05:47 am
BERLIN, Md. (AP) - State and local law enforcement will talk about an arrest that led to the recovery of more than 350 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on the Eastern Shore.
The commander and assistant commanders of the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack will be joined Friday by the Worcester County State's Attorney to announce a recent arrest.
Police say the marijuana was packaged in an attempt to reduce its scent. However, a state police drug dog was able to smell it and alerted troopers.
