New York Avenue crash Tuesday leaves 18 hurt

A seven vehicle crash at New York Avenue NE near Bladensburg Road early Tuesday morning left at least 18 people injured.
None of the injures are reported as serious. Although several people were taken to local hospitals, others declined to be transported.
The crash occurred in the 3600 block of New York Avenue NE. The crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m.
Traffic in both directions has resumed as normal.
