Nursing admission agreement signed by Virginia schools

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - George Washington University and Virginia's Community Colleges are making it easier for community college nursing students to pursue bachelor's degrees in nursing.
An agreement signed Monday will allow students at any of the state's community colleges to transfer their associate of applied science degree credits to George Washington's School of Nursing.
George Washington President Steven Knapp, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College President Richard Teaff, Gov. Bob McDonnell and Secretary of Education Laura Fornash are scheduled to speak during the signing ceremony in Richmond.
