Redskins cheerleaders ready for playoff game
January 4, 2013 - 07:02 am
The Redskins are ready for another day of practice as they prepare for Sunday's wild card showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. But the first ladies of football were also hitting FedExField early Friday morning. They met with ABC7's John Gonzalez to talk about Sunday's big game.
The Redskins Cheerleaders just celebrated their 50th anniversary, and veteran squad members say they'll bring all that experience and excitement to fans on Sunday.
More than 80,000 football fans will pack the playoff game, with even more fans tailgating in the parking lot and packing sports bars around the D.C. area.
