Tolliver brothers arrested for allegedly killing Tasheka Leavell
(ABC7/AP) - The three brothers who are all allegedly involved in the Jan. 17 murder of a woman in her Dumfries trailer home are all in custody after the remaining two were arrested in Florida Wednesday.
Just days after taking 38-year-old Reginald Tolliver into custody and charging him with first-degree murder, authorities say that two of his brothers, 27-year-old Christopher and 29-year-old Douglas, were found and arrested in North Palm Beach, Fla.
Both Christopher and Jason will be extradited to Prince William County, officials say, and have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 35-year-old Tasheka Leavell.
Police said Tuesday that 38-year-old Reginald Tolliver had been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He is being held without bond.
Investigators say she was shot last Thursday after witnesses say she got into an argument at the door of her home.
Investigators say 27-year-old Christopher Tolliver and 29-year-old Douglas Jason Tolliver were taken into custody Wednesday in North Palm Beach, Florida. They will be extradited back to Prince William County, police say.
Police say the Tollivers knew Leavell but have not revealed a motive. Officials say that Christopher lived a few doors down from Leavell and believe that both he and Jason had previous run-ins with her.
