String of robberies reported in D.C.

Police in D.C. are investigating a string of overnight robberies that happened in the span of just a few hours.

Police say the robberies began just before 7 p.m. in the 3300 block of 6th Street SE. There were two other reported robberies in Southeast and five more in Northwest.

Several of the robberies were armed and in one, the suspect reportedly wore Redskins gloves.

No one was injured in any of the attacks and police say there’s no indication any of the robberies were related.

Anyone with information should call police.
