Super Bowl 2013: Purple haze engulfs Baltimore
From the billboard that greets you when you drive into Baltimore on 95 to homes in Federal Hill decorated and flying Ravens flags, residents in Charm City are definitely caught up in the Super Bowl excitement.
At the Natty Boh store in Fells Point, they are helping spread the purple fever. They are well stocked with Super Bowl shirts.
“We got thousands of them,” says John Webb, store manager. “Let's just hope we win the game and we can sell more thousands.”
Everywhere you look in Baltimore, you see Ravens purple.
And people decorating the town for what they believe will be a Sunday Super Bowl victory celebration.
At the Canton Pub, like every bar, restaurant and many homes in Baltimore, they are preparing for a big Super Bowl party.
They love their Ravens here, a team that has brought this city together.
