Super Bowl 2013: Ravens Media Day
The countdown to the Ravens Super Bowl showdown with the 49ers is now just five days away. The Ravens arrived in New Orleans Monday evening following a huge sendoff party in Baltimore.
In New Orleans, the French Quarter already had a touch of the Charm City Tuesday morning -purple and black visible in store fronts and up and down Bourbon street.
A longtime fan who just wants to be known as Mrs. Raven was one of the first to arrive from Baltimore.
"I have a girlfriend who lives here,” said Mrs. Raven. “In the third quarter last week she said are your bags packed?"
Perhaps a good omen, the Superdome is already lit up in purple. Buildings and street corners downtown let you know it's Super Bowl week.
"Mardi Gras is next week but we plan in celebrating Sunday night," said Mrs. Raven.
Some Ravens fans made sure to make it to New Orleans in time for Tuesday's traditional Media Day.
"I'm hoping to get some autographs,” said Scott Brown, a Ravens fan. “Bought a football to get autographs."
