Super Bowl: Baltimore to host Ravens send-off
BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore will send the Ravens off to the Super Bowl with a rally next week in the Inner Harbor.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says the rally will be held Monday morning at the Inner Harbor amphitheater. The mayor's office says members of the Ravens' 2000 Super Bowl championship team will be in attendance along with current Ravens players and coaches.
Head coach John Harbaugh and All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis are among those expected to participate in the rally.
The Ravens face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 3. The 49ers are expected to be the first team to touch down in New Orleans for the Super Bowl when the NFC champions arrive Sunday night. The Ravens are set to show up Monday afternoon.
