Wisconsin Ave. water main break causes some lane closures

A major water main break on Wisconsin Avenue in the Chevy Chase area has caused two of three southbound lanes to be closed.

The water main break happened Wednesday evening at around 7 p.m. While no customers are affected by the break, all but one southbound lane has been shut down in the 5500 block of Wisconsin Avenue.

Crews on the scene say that they could be working on the incident into the afternoon, ABC7 has learned.
