Clarendon Mardi Gras Parade begins at 8 p.m.
Get ready to celebrate Fat Tuesday!
The Annual Clarendon Mardi Gras Parade gets underway Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m.
The Arlington County Police Department will close Wilson Boulevard in the Courthouse and Clarendon neighborhoods for the Mardi Gras Parade.
The affected streets are:
• Wilson Boulevard, from North Veitch Street to North Barton Street, will be closed from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Wilson Boulevard, from North Barton Street to North Irving Street, will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• North Adams Street and North Wayne Street, between Clarendon Boulevard and Wilson Boulevard, will be closed from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Parade attendees are encouraged to use Metro. The Courthouse and Clarendon stations on the Orange Line are located near the parade route.
In addition, street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed.
