D.C. police are searching for a suspect Monday after they say the same woman robbed two banks in Northwest Washington.
They were called to the PNC Bank in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue around 9:15. Afterward, the suspected bank robber struck the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue less than 20 minutes later.
Police say the woman told a teller at the Bank of America she had a gun, but never displayed one.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman with dark hair. She was wearing sunglasses and had a band-aid on her face.
