Erica Banks charged in connection with Darren Bell's death
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County police say a daughter has been charged in addition to her father for the death of a Glen Burnie man.
Police say 27-year-old Erica Banks surrendered Friday and was charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Darren Bell. Banks' father, Eric Banks, had been charged earlier in the week with first-degree murder.
Investigators say the father was arrested after he was found walking toward a vehicle from a wooded area, where the victim was found. Banks' daughter and another man were found in nearby vehicle along with a handgun. The third man, 24-year old Tremain Celos Calhoun, is facing a weapons charge.
Police say the victim had been shot and stabbed. The body was found in a wooded area near Marley Neck Boulevard in Glen Burnie.
