February 11, 2013 - 07:32 pm
WASHINGTON (AP) - Immigration officials have deported a citizen of El Salvador to face charges of sexually assaulting five youths who were under his care at a children's home he managed.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says 37-year-old Jose Mauricio Huezo-Ortega, who lived in Falls Church, Va., was deported Monday.
Huezo-Ortega was arrested in September after fleeing to the U.S. in 2009.
Huezo-Ortega arrived at the International Airport of El Salvador in Comalapa and was turned over to El Salvadoran authorities.
