Salaam Adams shot and killed, found in Hillcrest Heights park

The search continues for a suspect in the shooting death of a North Carolina man who was found dead in a Prince George's County park Monday morning.

Authorities are searching for a suspect and a motive in the murder of 20-year-old Salaam Adams, whose body was found in Hillcrest Heights.

Adams, a Durham, N.C. resident, was found shot to death at about 7:25 a.m. Monday inside Oxon Hill Run Park in the 2600 block of Oxon Run Drive.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince George's County Police homicide unit or Crime Solvers.
