Six Metro stations along the Blue and Orange lines in the District starting late Friday night due to track work.

Continuing rehabilitation of the Metrorail system will force the Capitol South, Eastern Market, Potomac Avenue, Stadium-Armory, Minnesota Avenue and Deanwood stations to close starting at 10 p.m. Friday.

Shuttle buses will replace trains between Federal Center SW and Cheverly on the Orange Line and to Benning Road on the Blue Line. Single-tracking will also occur between East Falls Church and West Falls Church.

Single-tracking will also occur on the Green and Yellow Lines between L'Enfant Plaza and Mount Vernon Square.

All track work is scheduled to wrap up by the time the system closes Sunday night.
