Oscars 2013: Excitement mounts for 85th Annual Academy Awards
Less than 48 hours before the Oscars, the red carpet is laid and media crews from around the globe are getting into position, practicing for the big night with stand-ins for stars like Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum.
Onlookers are snapping photos from the grand entrance of the newly-named Dolby Theater.
Some have traveled from the other side of the Earth.
The Cordova sisters from Sidney, Australia are hoping to catch a glimpse of Nicole Kidman who hails from Down Under.
"She is beautiful," says Adela Cordova. "We all love her very much. She represents Australia beautifully."
Pamela and Berwyn Jones came all the way from North Wales.
Along the famous Hollywood Boulevard, ABC7 hears the same reaction over and over. People say it's bigger than they expected.
As for what they'll remember from the show itself, many expect it will be the host, Seth McFarlane, who they know will be funny.
And, of course, the fashions and the evening's performances.
