Prince George's County firefighter injured in Bowie blaze

A firefighter was taken to the hospital after a blaze on Kingsfield Lane in Bowie Sunday.
Officials say flames were showing through the second floor of the vacant building around 12:30 p.m. Firefighters were evacuated when the flames started shooting through the roof.
The injured firefighter was taken to the hospital in non life-threatening condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
