February 6, 2013 - 06:21 pm
A D.C. Superior Court jury convicted a 22-year-old man Wednesday in the killing of a 16-year-old teen in NW D.C.
The jury convicted Raymond Roseboro of first-degree murder while armed and other charges in the 2010 slaying of Prince Okorie, a student at Roosevelt Senior High School.
Roseboro is scheduled to be sentenced on April 10 and faces at least 30 years behind bars.
Okorie was shot in the head in the 800 block of Dealefield Place in Petworth. At the time, witnesses told police they saw three men flee the scene on foot.
