Robert Carter sentenced for murder of 13-year-old daughter

A D.C. man convicted of killing his 13-year-old daughter and shooting two others in 2010 was sentenced to 70 years in prison Friday.
On Oct. 29, 2010, 41-year-old Robert Carter fatally shot his 13-year-old daughter, Angel Morse, in the home of his estranged girlfriend in Northwest Washington.
Morse's mother and her 10-year-old brother were also wounded.
Carter was sentenced to 45 years in prison for Morse's death and 25 years for other charges stemming from the incident.
