Sequestration 2013: When does sequestration start, really?

There's no doubt in anyone's mind at the White House, on Capitol Hill or anywhere in America on the date that sequestration is going to kick in. It's happening March 1.
However, the exact timing of when the sequester will begin is still a bit murky. According to Politico, it literally could happen anytime President Barack Obama wants it to.
Really.
Officially, the Office of Management and Budget has until 11:59 p.m. Friday to issue the sequestration order. It's the "midnight deadline" that has been talked about so much. However, President Obama could issue the order to implement the sequester anytime he wants, Politico says.
Once it happens, government agencies can begin issuing furlough notices.
