Six 'Show Out' gang members plead guilty in D.C.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Six District of Columbia men who authorities say belonged to a street gang pleaded guilty Tuesday to a series of beatings, robberies and other crimes.
Prosecutors say the men, part of the "Show Out" gang, targeted victims in the Chinatown, U Street and Adams Morgan neighborhoods and either robbed them, beat them up or both.
The men, who pleaded guilty to crimes including aggravated assault and obstructing justice, also committed flash-mob style robberies of convenience stores and gas stations.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 10.
The U.S. Attorney's office says two other men already pleaded guilty in the same case and a third member of the street gang is still being sought.
