Stardust Lounge ordered to close its doors for violation notice
A Prince George's County adult entertainment club has been ordered to close its doors for operating without an occupancy permit. It was also the scene of a shooting last week that left one man critical.
Police found the victim suffering from several gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Stardust Lounge just before 3 a.m. February 6. He was taken to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police say a robbery escalated to the shooting at the District Heights club.
Marcus Antonio McCray, 30, was arrested at his home in Southeast Washington shortly after. He's been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and other related charges. McCray is being held on a $500,000 bond.
The Stardust Lounge will stay closed pending the outcome of an appeals hearing.
