Alexandria Police hold blood drive for Peter Laboy

The Alexandria Police Department is banding together to help one of its wounded officers.
The department is holding a blood drive Thursday for officer Peter Laboy who was shot in the head while responding to a call of a suspicious person. Laboy's recovery could take up to a year.
The man accused of shooting him, Kashif Bashir, is charged with malicious wounding of a police officer and has a court hearing on April 10th.
