The Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway has reopened after a tractor-trailer crash led to a hazardous materials situation near Bethesda.
The Beltway was previously closed at River Road due to a crash involving a semi with a hazardous materials leak. It closed the busy highway between the I-270 spur and River Road (Exit 39).
All injuries were minor, authorities say. The truck involved in the crash was moved out of the main lanes so that authorities could mitigate any potential spill.
