Brian Mayhew accused in witnesses' death
March 21, 2013 - 06:33 pm
A man accused in a fatal double shooting from 2011 has been charged with the death of a witness in the case.
Brian Mayhew is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of his cousin Nicoh Mayhew.
Nicoh was killed and his 2-year-old son was wounded last Dec. in a shooting in the 6800 block of Seat Pleasant Drive.
Brian is currently awaiting trial for the deaths of two men in Capitol Heights. Nicoh, a witness in the case, was reportedly offered protection but declined.
If the court finds Nicoh was killed because he was a witness, the accused could get an additional 20 years behind bars.
