A suspect in the Monday morning stabbing at a Camp Springs apartment complex has been caught and arrested.

The victim was stabbed inside an apartment in the 5200 block of Morris Avenue in Camp Springs, police say. Police got a call at 8:30 Monday morning for a stabbing. The victim, identified as Kateisha Jenkins, 34, later died.

The suspect showed up at the apartment, where the victim, who is his ex-girlfriend, and the reported mother of his child, lived. He confronted the victim at the door and started stabbing, reportedly without warning.

The victim's brother, who was also in the apartment, tried to intervene, and was cut/stabbed.
