One-year-old boy Sherrik Farmer killed by pickup truck that jumped a curb in Temple Hills

A one-year-old boy was killed when a pickup truck jumped a curb after losing control and hit the boy and his father Thursday evening in Prince George’s County.
The victim is identified as Sherrik Farmer.
The boy’s father sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred a little after 5 p.m. in the 5200 block of St. Barnabas Road in Temple Hills, according to Prince George's County Police.
The child was in a stroller and another adult was with the father and child, but was not injured, police say.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on the scene, police say.
