Herndon Sunoco robbery suspect caught on camera
March 13, 2013 - 10:16 am
Fairfax County Police detectives are searching for the suspect who robbed a Sunoco convenience store in Herndon early Monday morning.
The robbery happened just before 3 a.m. Monday in the 13400 block of Coppermine Road, officials say. Surveillance video caught the man entering the store, implying that he had a weapon and holding up a convenience store employee.
The suspect, who was dressed in all black and what appears to be a mask, got away with an unknown about of cash. A subsequent search did not lead to the suspect's arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Fairfax County Police.
