James Cetto arrested after fighting brother, stealing car, crashing it
A Woodbridge man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly getting into a fight with his teenage brother, stealing a delivery driver's car and rear ending a tractor-trailer all under the influence of alcohol.
Prince William County Police say that the entire incident started around 5:25 Wednesday when James Cetto, 21, got into an argument with his 15-year-old brother inside an apartment in the 1600 block of Ladue Court. A verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical fight in the apartment building's lobby, doing about $350 in damage.
After the fight, police say Cetto got into an unattended, running vehicle in the parking lot that belonged to a pizza delivery driver. He took off in the stolen car onto Farm Creek Drive, where he rear-ended a tractor-trailer. After the crash, he tried to flee on foot.
Instead of evading law enforcement, though, authorities say Cetto went back to his apartment building, where he was arrested and taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
In all, Cetto was charged with hit and run, grand larceny of a vehicle, domestic assault, battery, destruction of property, DUI, driving on a suspended license and refusing a breath test.
No bond information was available.
