Two men suspected in the 2010 murder of a Suitland man have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Jeffrey Allen Cutler Jr. and Houston Donald Washington are accused of shooting and killing then 34-year-old Antwann Tirelle Massey in his home on July 31, 2010. Massey was found suffering from several gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Police say Cutler and Washington entered Massey’s home in the 3800 block of Regency Parkway and demanded money. The victim reportedly sold snacks from his home. Detectives believe money from the snack sales was the suspects' motive.
Cutler was arrested at his home on Friday. Washington was already in custody on unrelated charges. Both are currently being held without bond.
