MARYLAND
Jonathan Fuentes sentenced for sex trafficking of a child
March 1, 2013 - 01:17 pm
A 21-year-old Clinton, Md. resident will spend the next 10 years in prison for his role in a prostitution ring.
Jonathan Adonay Fuentes pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a child last Nov.
"As the driver for MS-13, Fuentes transported a young girl to various hotels and apartments - helping the gang exploit her as a child prostitute," said U.S. Attorney Neil MacBride. "We have a zero-tolerance policy against anyone who makes it possible to profit from the sexual slavery of children."
Fuentes transported the teen throughout Virginia, Maryland and D.C.
His sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release.
