Metro to stay open late for NCAA Tournament games at Verizon Center
Metro will remain open for an extra hour Thursday night into Friday morning to accommodate fans attending NCAA Tournament games at the Verizon Center.
WMATA officials say that fans will be able to enter the system through either the Gallery Place-Chinatown or Judiciary Square stations until 12:50 a.m. All other stations will close at their normal times, but riders will be able exit anywhere.
The Marquette Warriors take on the Miami Hurricanes in the early game on Thursday, starting at 7:15 p.m. The late game, Indiana vs. Syracuse, tips off at 9:45 p.m.
