MPD: Woman's death in Rock Creek Park investigated

Police are investigating a woman's death after her body was found by a cyclist in Rock Creek Park early Saturday.

The woman, who was found under the Charles C. Glover Memorial Bridge, was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.

Police are investigating whether or not the woman was pushed or jumped from the bridge.

Traffic was diverted in the area of Rock Creek Parkway and Massachusetts Avenue Saturday morning.
