Pamela Taylor sentenced for sexual assault of teen
A 24-year-old D.C. woman will spend four years in prison for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl on a Metrobus in Southeast.
Pamela Taylor will also serve six months in prison for misdemeanor threats stemming from the same incident.
According to court documents, in Dec. 2011, Taylor approached the girl at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station and mentioned members of the girl's family, leading the victim to believe she knew them.
Authorities say the girl was tricked into providing her cellphone number.
Taylor followed the girl onto a Metrobus at the Anacostia Metro station, and during the bus ride, touched the victim inappropriately.
The next day, she called and threatened to assault the girl if she left her home.
Taylor entered an Alfred plea, which means the defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges there's enough evidence for a conviction.
