A Radford University assistant professor who teaches a “War on Drugs” seminar is facing felony drug charges after police allegedly discovered marijuana and another suspected drug at his house.

The Virginia-Pilot reports that Taj Mahon-Haft was indicted last week on multiple counts of drug possession. He turned himself in to police on Monday.

Police say they served a warrant on his residence and discovered a leafy green substance as well as bath salts, the Virginia-Pilot reports.

The Virginia-Pilot states he couldn’t reached for comment.

Mahon-Haft teaches three criminal justice courses at Radford in addition to the “War on Drugs” seminar. He joined the faculty in 2011.
