Riderwood retirment computer burglaries total eight over several months
Montgomery County Police are looking into a string of burglaries at a Silver Spring retirement community, the Gazette reports, including the theft of a company-owned computer.
The Gazette reports that eight residents of the Riderwood retirement community, which is located in the 3100 block of Gracefield Road in Silver Spring, have reported things missing from their homes over the past several months.
In a statement released by Erickson Living, Riderwood's management company, a spokesman says that no sensitive information about residents was on the stolen computer.
Security at the complex has been raised in response to the crimes, the Gazette says.
