Soldier reunion at Wizards game, Glover family reunites
March 4, 2013 - 08:58 am
The family of a local solider scored a "nothing but net reunion" at Sunday night's Wizards game.
Clinton resident, Denise Glover and her kids, 9-year old Sam and 5-year old Autumn, took center court at half-time for a tribute to military families. The kids had no idea a surprise reunion - 14 long months in the making - was about to take place.
Lieutenant Colonel Sam Glover II, finished his tour of duty in Afghanistan and joined his excited, but stunned family.
The Wizards honor members of the military at every home game throughout the season.
