Rock 'n' Roll race draws thousands

WASHINGTON (AP/ABC7) - About 30,000 runners participated in the Rock 'n' Roll marathon and half marathon in Washington Saturday.
Runners took off from Constitution Avenue and 14th Street, ran around the National Mall, and crossed the finish line at RFK Stadium.
Around 6,000 people were expected to run the marathon, and 24,000 were expected to run the half marathon.
Peter Lawrence came in first with a time of 2:32:27. The first woman to finish the marathon was Ashley Olsen with a time of 2:53:28.
