Aspen Hill home invasion: Two people shot, in serious condition after shooting

A 55-year-old man and 14-year-old girl were shot during a home invasion in Aspen Hill. 

Police responded to a shooting along the 13000 block of Freeland Road, where they found an adult male shot in the chest and a juvenile girl shot in the ankle. Both were transported to trauma centers and are reported to have serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The suspects in the incident may be known to the victims.
