51st Street NE shooting leaves man injured, suspects loose
Two suspects are being sought by MPD detectives after a man was shot in Northeast Washington early Monday morning.
The shooting happened in the 1000 block of 51st Street NE at about 2 a.m., D.C. Police spokesperson Ofc. Tisha Gant said.
The victim was found alive and suffering from several gunshot wounds to his left leg and groin.
A search is on for two suspects. One is described as a black male with short hair in a black t-shirt, blue jeans; the other a black male with short hear wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Police say they fled the shooting scene in a black Honda Accord with paper tags.
