Bowie car fires declared suspicious
A Sunday morning fire that caused $90,000 worth of damage to cars in Bowie has been declared suspicious, officials say.
The fires broke out at about 5 a.m. Sunday morning in the 3600 block of Elder Oaks Boulevard, Prince George's County Fire officials say. Firefighters arrived to find several cars and a carport on fire.
Fire officials believe that of the eight cars damaged, one of them parked next to the carport was where the fire started.
No one was injured in the fire, which remains under investigation.
