Christopher Devese arrested on sex abuse charge

It was Saturday afternoon when police say Christopher Devese of Capitol Heights, 22, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend hoping to cause her to have a miscarriage.
Police arrested Christopher Devese on Saturday and charged him with first degree sexual assault and kidnapping. D.C. Police say Devese crashed his car into the victim’s near the 4900 block of South Dakota Avenue NE.
Devese is then accused of dragging his girlfriend out of the vehicle and assaulting her “in an attempt to create a miscarriage,” according to a police report.
He then dragged her to an alley and sexually assaulted her, police say, adding that he drove her to his residence and beat her until an unidentified person stopped him, got the woman out of the car and drove her back to her car in D.C., the report states.
