James Madison University reports mumps case
James Madison University is the latest Virginia school to report a mumps case.
School officials say one student is being treated for the contagious viral infection. In March, the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University reported several cases of the mumps on their campuses.
Sixty-six cases have been reported statewide since March--leading some health officials to question the vaccine's effectiveness.
