Metrobus, minivan collide in Northwest, six injured
Six people were injured Sunday morning when a minivan collided with a Metrobus in Northwest D.C., WTOP reports.
The bus, headed toward the Tenleytown Metro station, was hit by a gray minivan at 34th Street NW and Woodley Road NW, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel tells WTOP.
Four bus passengers, the bus driver, and the driver of the minivan were injured. None of the injuries were life-threatening, Stessel says.
The minivan ran a red light and hit the bus on its right front, Stessel says. The bus hit a tree after the collision.
