Michelle Eyre De Sam hit by car in hit-and-run crash
A Bethesda woman remains hospitalized after being the victim of a hit-and-run crash last Friday night.
Montgomery County Police say that Michelle Eyre De Sam, 35, was hit by a vehicle on Rockville Pike near Cedar Lane, less than a quarter mile from her home, just after 9:30 p.m. She was found unconscious in the roadway and the car that hit her was nowhere to be found.
Authorities say that De Sam was trying to cross Rockville Pike from east to west inside a crosswalk when she was hit. Her injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Police have no lookout for the striking vehicle, but ask anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them at (301) 279-8000.
