Officer won't face charges in Glen Burnie camera case
An Anne Arundel County police officer on administrative leave after allegedly installing a camera inside a men's restroom at Glen Burnie High School won’t face criminal charges.
According to police, the device “was not used to record, store, or transmit any images or sound.”
The officer's identity was not made public.
According to a preliminary investigation, the officer, who is assigned to the Special Services Bureau, installed the camera without the knowledge of the school system or police department.
A student discovered the camera in March and reported it to school administrators. No images or recordings were found on the camera, and no additional unauthorized cameras were located in the building.
